Who else did this?
I hosted Christmas for my son, DIL, sister and BIL. When they left I loaded them down with leftovers, but I still had the following lurking in the house: a homemade pumpkin pie, half a homemade pecan tart, chocolate chips (leftover from cookies made for son), dried cranberries (for salad**** cream (for that pie), muffins, and homemade cinnamon bread (Sis's contribution to breakfasts). They were way too tempting and since I'm on vacation I couldn't take them to work. So I threw them all in the trash! I think throwing food away is harder than resisting buying it.
Willpower did not come with WLS!
Cleo: good for you! I didn't have to do it at Christmas cause I was at my Mom's but I've done it in the past. whatever works, right?
glad you had a nice holiday and congrats on doing so well!
I've really been fighting food urges the last few days, work is ramping up. I must get a handle on this willpower thing soon. So far so good but it is scary. ugh ugh ugh.
judi
I order them off bariatriceating.com but I heard they will soon be available in Max Muscle stores... they are really good tasting, crunchy, and best of all - I have never had any problem tolerating them (although the Parmesean gives me heartburn every once in a while).
A serving is 110 cal, 10 g protein, and I think 15 g carb - a little higher carb than I usually have but I don't get the carb coma after I eat them. I put them on top of turkey chili and it's pretty yummy!
Enjoy!
