6 months today

6 months ago today I hade my WLS...... Happier and smiling more than I ever thought I would. I am down 135 lbs I can wear a lot of my 15 year old daughter clothes, and many of my husband's t shirts I get to buy new clothes ever couple weeks. I never imagined being able to resist sweets and junk food the way I can. My GP, who didn't want to give me a referral for WLS, because he didn't believe in it, told me how impressed he was, and his MOA said she was proud of me. My Husband has always called me Little B, because I was so much shorter than him, he has started calling me, Little Little B My pants labels no longer start with an X I am only 17 lbs from having lost my daughter (she weighs 152 lbs) I am on my third swim suit since August; I keep shrinking out of them. In restaurants I no longer have to push the table back to fit into a booth, there is at least 8 inches left. The steering wheel in my truck that used to rub on my belly is now 6 inches away. I sleep comfortably through the night I have lost a lot of hair, but I can live with that. I used to have great boobs, now I just have the bags they came in I actually make up reasons to go for a walk, and will opt to walk places I normally drive. Like the bank, movies and even shopping at Zellers. When I go places I quite am no longer the biggest one in the room which was usually the case. Did I say..Happier and smiling more than before? Only 63 lbs to go

Becky- Congratulations! You have come so far in 6 months... really can you believe it?!!! 6 months and your quality of life has improved dramatically! I am so proud of you and thank you for posting this! It is such an inspirational thing to read (Especially since I had a bad day) Keep up the great work! You will be at goal in no time!!!
