Thank You for the Prayers!!!

I want to thank everyone for the prayers they have offered up for me in my time of need. I was back in the hospital last week and they think I have a start of an ulcer. I thank GOD that it was not from any of the surgeries. GOD is good and I give him all my praises!!! Since last Nov. I have had a stroke, a division in my family, TIA (mini-stroke), RNY, in hospital for dehydration, lost everything we owned including our house, GB surgery, Tumor removal, and one more stay for abd. pain. Some might think, "Boy! That doesn't sound like God is being very good to you!" At one point I felt the same way. I was feeling really Job-ish!!! So I read Job and all his trials and I realized that I was really blessed. GOD didn't afflict me with the stroke, satan did. What GOD did is he let me have a full recovery. I can walk, talk, think, I may be a little forgetful, but otherwise I have no deficits. GOD didn't divide my family, satan did. What GOD is doing, is he is working on mending my family. GOD didn't afflict me with the TIA, satan did. Still GOD has keep men deficit free. GOD DID help me make the decision to have the RNY surgery. I have 6 pounds to go before I reach 100 lbs. I feel really good! Believe it or not my health is better than it has been in years. GOD didn't afflict me with dehydration, I just couldn't seem to get all my fluids in, which I believe was another stumbling block of satan. GOD didn't take our home, satan did. Through all his schemes to keep us struggling, the loss of my job, my husband taking off work to drive me to the doctor because of my blurred vision and medication affects, blurred vision, just no money coming in. We lost everything. Everything material that is, we still have GOD in our lives. What GOD did was he not only put a roof over our head, he put a whole house. We are currently living in my daughters finished basement. We know GOD has something for us at his appropriate time. GOD helped me through my GB surgery. I am doing great! My liver healed nicely. As for the tumor; satan may have given me a big scar on my neck, BUT, GOD kept me cancer free!!! I struggle at times with depression and GOD lifts me up. I get scared, and GOD reminds me that satan came to kill, steal and destroy, BUT, GOD came to give me life and give it more abuntantly! I may not always be who I should be, BUT, I know that GOD is everything he said he would be and much more. So though satan may try to slay me, I will praise the LORD with all my heart and soul!!! So lets all give praises to the GOD almighty!!! I love him so much and he is an awesome GOD! If he can suspend the earth over nothing, and sling the stars into the skies and they appear at night to show us the beauty GOD brings to darkness. If he can just speak things into exsistance, I know he will take care of me. If you are going through a tough time, you may not feel your prayers are even being heard, I know I did. Reach out to others to help you lift up prayers to GOD. I know he can hear even just one person. Sometimes people need help in the fight they are facing and need help with the prayers that need to be delivered to GOD. It is like Moses. When he was in a certain war, if his hands were lifted, the battle was being won, but if he tired and his arms began to weaken and fall the battle began to be lost. Two men stood at his side and held his hands up so the war could be won. That is what your prayers have done for me. Thanks to everyone, but mostly, ALL THANKS BE TO THE GOD OF ALL!!! Elisa

Elisa, Praise GOD!!! Girl you said it better than I most preacher's could tell it!!!! You have a right to Praise him and I am glad that you are!!! HE is a awesome God and he is who he said he would be.THere is a song that says when i think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he has done for me......my very soul cries out halleuiah i thank God for saving me. (Just thinking about his goodness makes me want to praise him) Congratulations on your testimony and have a very happy thanksgiving!!! Thank you for posting this!!!!
