I have days like you're having too but mine come and go, please call someone and talk about what you're feeling I am going to do that myself. It always helps to get someone with education that's not a friend or family member's take on things. It can't all be as bleak as we think it is. I have some regret myself about the surgery but I am down 70lbs but I feel like it's still so so hard sometimes...Best to you and please call someone. Pam

Hey Serena- Does the surgeon you went through have a counselor associated with their program. If so, give that person a call and get an appointment. What you are going through is VERY normal after WLS. Also, if you are taking more meds, you need to make sure that they are counteracting the Prozac. That's always a possibility. It would be great to find one that's familiar with WLS issues that come up, but another counselor would help as well. Just make sure you call to make an appointment, you'll feel better getting it out and perhaps it is just a medicine issue that can be corrected very easily. Take care of you! Pam

Serena, You are not alone. I have had the same feeling for the last month or so. I focus on my son, who is 4, and that gets me going. I have put several pictures of him around me when I am not at home. It is my constant reminder why I had surgery, why I am changing my life, and what I have to look forward too. I am also on anti depressants. Talk to your dr. I have had to have mine adjusted a while ago. They still aren't right, but it is better. Maybe you need a higher dose for a while or something else to make things a little brighter. Have faith, talk to a friend, watch a good comedy. You are doing a great job, and taking a first step by coming to us. We all love and care for each other. ((((((((((((((((((((((big hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) to you.
