4 Months Post Op Today! New Pic Posted!
Well, today is my 4th Month Surgiversary and I am down a total of 95.3 lbs since my first appt with the Maine Bariatric Center and 69.5 lbs since my surgery on 6/25. I can't tell you how much my life has changed for the better due to this WONDERFUL tool and the help of Dr Cobean and the staff at MBC and my friends on OH.com I am finally living my life!! In this process I have found myself by overcoming depression and grown closer to Jesus Christ, I was baptized on October 7th and I love my new Church Family at Stroudwater Christian Church!! In a couple years, I plan on going to their short term missions to Nicaragua and Guatamala. I want to be in the best physical shape before I do. But I will be there!
Kathi -- I have the same anniversary as you! I checked out your pictures and you are doing terrific.
We are about at the same place. My high weight was 333, 318 at surgery, and today I'm about 10 pounds behind you in weight loss (I'm at 263.5).
But isn't it wonderful what we've done so far! I can say my energy is higher, the exercise has raised my stamina, and I'm rejoicing for every new day now.
Life is good! God Bless You!
Kim,
Hello my surgery sister!! Isn't it nice to compare results and to have people that are going through the same thing!
Keep up the good work!! Life is Awesome!
God bless,

PS I requested to add you to my friends list! I would love to see your pics, sometime!! Alaska is beautiful!! We have a Wyland wall as well here in Portland, ME. I will have to take a pic and send it to you!
Happy Anniversary to both of you!
Wow Kathi, what a difference in 4 months! (and you are wearing my favorite color, purple). You look great!
You will really notice the difference when you go on the missions, what a terrific thing to do. Our Rotary club always sponsors some schools in other countries. Some day I would love to go and help out with it.
Congrats!
