HORRIBLE LOSING MONTH!!!
I've always been a slower loser than most of you. I think my metabolism sucks because I had pretty much no muscle tone preop.
After biking all summer and joining the gym last week, I can definitely feel muscle now so I hope I'm like Cleo, adding muscle and losing fat.
I met with the trainer yesterday to learn the weights and she reiterated what I heard that you seem to burn more calories if you mix up the exercise a little. I'm loving the elliptical machine right now but I'm going to add some stationary bike and treadmill even though they are more boring.
Hang in there guys! I track my weight on Fit day and notice that I lose for 2 weeks and don't lose so much for 2 weeks every month. I've only been tracking for 3 months but there is definitely a pattern.

I was hoping to be 200 or less by new years as well.....I have 36 to go.
I am glad to hear that everyone is slowing down...well not glad to hear it but comforted, it must be a "phase" thing and to know that everyone is going through it makes me feel normal. It has now been a week since I lost anything That sad part of it all is that this week I really kicked the excesis up a notch and now have been rewarded with no weight loss.
Guess we are all looking forward to it kicking back in again eh?

YAY you! I wish I could get to the point where I could stand doing cardio. I find it so boring! If I just had the time throughout the day, I'd do 10 minutes at a time, 3x a day to alleviate the boredom. The weight training seems to mix it up just enough that I can soldier thru it. Plus I really like looking at my arms - at least the top side with muscles instead of the bottom flabby part!
