Help! What am I doing wrong?
Help! I have been stuck between 215 and 218 for over a month. I have increased my water consumption and protein. I am getting almost 100 g. of protein a day. I usually eat 2 meals a day because I drink my protein at breakfast. So I started substituting another meal with protein, and the scale still has not moved since I started this one week ago. Anyone else have this problem? I am sick over it. I want so much to get under 200 to my goal weight of 150 lbs. I only eat about 3-4 oz. at a time. Most meat makes me sick, with the exception of chicken. So I am not eating that much meat. I eat chicken at least 5 times a week. Any suggestions?

Elisa - it could be possible that if you are not eating enough you are not losing weight. Your body could be in 'starvation mode' and is holding on to weight in defense. Do you track your calorie intake? I actually find that if I increase my calorie intake a little it helps in the weight loss! Totally backward to the way I used to think!
I too have a hard time tolerating meat, but have switched my protein intake to cheese, yogurt, eggs, etc.
Try and add some calories and see if that helps!
Elisa: on your profile it says you've lost 73 pounds. Do you think your body is just taking a break and readjusting?
I think Donna has posted that she messes with her calories, 700-900 one day, 1200 the next just to confuse her body into moving!
try to check for her old posts and see if you can find it.
All the post ops keep saying, follow the plan and you will lose, but I KNOW it is frustrating. I went 9 days with no movement and a second protein shake every day with more water did it for me. When I added the second protein shake I had less time to eat so my calories stayed in the 700-800 range.
hang in there and let us know how it goes!!

Hi Elisa,
It's a good possibility that you aren't eating enough, as was already posted here. Alot of us think we still have to eat like we're on a diet with our old stomachs, and that just isn't true. Why don't you try bouncing your calories around every day, confusing your body out of starvation mode? Take your daily calorie consumption (what your nutritionist says you should be eating), multiply by 7, then take that number and split it up unevenly, just as Judi mentioned. I always keep my body guessing at my calorie intake and I've never had a stall last longer than a week yet. Usually right around pms time I gain a pile of water weight, then it takes me a week to get rid of it again. Good luck and let us know how you do (hugs)
