NSV's and bloodwork

Today it has been 3 months since my RNY surgery in Mexico. I was going to write a list of things I was thankful for, but I did just that at 2.5 months. The only real difference is as of this morning I have lost 94 lbs. But I have been experiancing some NSV's that are not the normal ones like clothes getting to big etc.... I have been experiancing, something that makes me very happy..... The people around me have been loosing weight, inspired by me and my information. I have shared with them about protien first, keep the fat/ sugar/ carbs low (rule of 5) shared fitday.com with them. ETC ... My best friend has lost 25 lbs, my husband has lost 20, my son has also lost 20 and this morning one of my Daycare Moms ( I own a daycare) who has been grilling me with questions told me she had already lost 14 lbs. ( she only stated trying 2 weeks ago) Im so thrilled and proud of all of them. They all say its not much compared to what I have lost BUT they were able to do what I wasn't, loose weight on their own. (non of them were obese, just a little over weight) I went to my GP today for my 3 month blood tests. He was very impressed with my progress. This is the same guy who didnt even want to refer me for surgery because he "didnt believe" in it. He commented on how not only do I look different but I had a different spirit about me. Becky

Congrats Becky! I didn't realize you ran a daycare too. I currently have 6 kids all under 2 (including my son) and there are days I know could never have done this if I wouldn't have had the surgery! It's so fun to be able to get down and play with the kids and run after them now. Plus they give me my daily exercise Congrats again on your success, your doing awesome! I emailed a copy of my bloodwork to Dr. R and he said it all looked AWESOME!

Congratulations Becky, that is awesome! I'm not sure what NSV stands for (I'm running a low grade fever and feeling icky so my brain isn't working), but it sounds like something good lol. You're doing a great job and being an inspiration to those around you, you must be an angel in disguise (hugs) Donna
