no energy
Oh Serena, so sorry to hear you are feeling so weak and tired. Have you talked to your surgeon? He may want to check your levels. I am taking 2500 mcg of B-12 every morning. But your iron may be low...that will make you feel exhausted.
Call the doctors office in the morning and see if you should get bloodwork done.
Let us know how it goes hon!
Pam
(hugs) I'm sorry you're not feeling so hot. I agree with Pam though. It very well could be low iron. That's one of the things we post-ops have the most trouble with, especially women. That monthly thing will zap whatever iron you've managed to save up. You don't post in the daily eating section, so I don't know how your diet is. Are you getting enough calories?
Donna
I get the same way. I do take more B12 than you do. I take 2500mcg daily--the sublingual kind. I was taking iron 3 days a week and increased it to 5 days. TMI ahead--it made me constipated so I have 1/2 c SF applesauce and 3 Sunsweet prunes daily.
Even presurgery, at the TOM I get wiped out, can't get enough sleep.
Feel better(((hugs)))
