post op appointment

Ok, so I went to my 3 month post-op appointment and all Dr Yu could say was WOW! That made me feel pretty good. He said I looked a lot happier, a lot younger and seemed to have a lot more energy. It was a fairly short appointment, he said everything looked great, he was impressed with my weightloss, told me to cover my scars with sunscreen if I'm getting in the sun, said come back in 3 months and sent me off to the lab. He also said that he had a patient in the next room who was a year out, started out about my size and was about the same height...... and that at a year out, she had only lost 30 more pounds than I had at this point. He was pretty impressed to say the least and said I'd probably be at my goal before my next visit. I hope he's right. Other than that.... everything looks great. He said my scars look good, but I told him that was because he was so good. My scars are REALLY small, so its due to his handy work. But he said its because I'm doing so good. I'm thinking, we just made a really good team. Anyway......... thats all for now. I have to wait on the lab results, so if anything comes back 'not so great' then I'll let ya know. But I'm crossing my fingers, since I don't want to take any more vitamins. =) Mel T
