GURRR I have a problem. I feel like I am snacking at work all the time. I bring "planned snacks" and I am still munching in between snacks and meals!! I try to bring string cheese or apple sauce or some crackers but they just don't take care of my snack "itch" Does anyone have any ideas? Something that has some nice crunch? I also need help on meals. I am supposed to be progressing from soft to regular foods next week. Any ideas? Did I mention that I love you all!!!!! HUGGS!

Have you tried the Genisoy Soy Crisp? I found them in my local grocery store and then bought a case of them online from Amazon. http://www.genisoy.com/products/snacks/ They are really good. Just try to make sure you portion them out. I have trouble stopping if I don't do that beforehand.

I was getting the snack urges when I was eating the bad carbs. Since I knocked out protein bars, and try to avoid trail mix and nuts (bad triggers for me), and upped my protein drinks to 2 per day I haven't felt as "snacky" But , like you, I have to plan the portions ahead of time. Last week I brought a package of jerky to work. Before I knew it 2/3 of it was gone! That was dinner that night. Ugh hang in there, judi

There's not much I can add to what everyone else already posted, because they all pretty much covered what I snack on. I will say this though, if you're snacking alot, and you're supposed to wait till half hour after eating to drink anything....you ARE getting your water in right? Because extra water, crystal light, decaf iced tea, etc. can all be good "in between" things to help keep you from getting the munchies. Just thought I'd throw that out there Donna

Here's what I snack on: sugar free popsicles sugar free jello string cheese crackers 100 calorie snacks (but i only eat about a 1/3 of the bag so one bag lasts me a 2 or 3 days or more) baked veggie crisps (I didn't like the soy crisps). watermelon and lots of water!!! hope that helps! We love you too! Good luck!
