It must be a SKINNY day...

because I had one too.... I have a job interview on Monday and ummmm nothing I have FITS, unless I want to wear shorts to a job interview (and I dont). So I decided to go shopping.... I walked into Kohl's and started heading for the women's section out of pure habit... and then I remembered "hey! that stuff won't fit me anymore". So I wandered around the store a little bit and they have all these other sections I never noticed before... so I started just taking stuff to try on... whether I wanted it or not, I was going to try LOTS on. That's usually the thing I hate worst about shopping... can't find things I like and when I do, I dont like the way it fits and I usually end up taking in 20 things and only 2 will fit and those will be the 2 things I liked the least anyway. So back to my shopping trip today....... I took shorts, capris, jeans, dress pants, shirts, dresses into the fitting room. You name it, I grabbed it!!! I didn't take in 2 or 3 different sizes of the things I liked ...... all the same sizes. And guess what...... everything FIT, some were too big but nothing I grabbed was too small. I wasn't about to get a bunch of stuff because I really dont want to invest the money in something I won't be wearing long. But WOW!!! It all fit... I didn't leave the dressing room feeling horrible and huge and more depressed than when I went in. I left feeling accomplished and happy that I made the decision not to buy things because I didnt want them, not because they didn't fit me. When I started out..... I was wearing 18s that were TIGHT and usually the shirts were a 1x or 2x. Ok..... so what size did I take in the fitting room today? 14 pants and L tops. And yes.... some of the things were too big =) Mel T is back to doing the happy dance!!!

I AM GETTING UP AND DOING THE HAPPY DANCE WITH YOU....I HAVE A PHOBIA ABOUT THE DRESSING ROOM....OR I SHOULD SAY I HAD....CAUSE ALWAYS LEFT FEELING MISERABLE BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!! i totally FEEL YA GIRL!!!!!!!!! WOOO HOOO WOOO HOOO!!! you are doing great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i had to say...........look at your pic girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU LOOK GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I WAS LIKE WHO IS THAT??????? I THOUGHT IT SAID MEL T...........OH IT IS HER!!
