It's working for me

I had my 3 month post op check with my surgeon today. He took me off 1 of my 2 BP meds. I thank God and my surgeon for WLS. My starting BMI was 41.5 and now it is 31.5. Ten whole points!!! according to the BMI chart I am no longer extremely obese On my monthly 'surgiversary' date I take my measurements. They are posted on my profile. This month I lost 12 lbs but I lost 14 inches. WOW I'm so happy I'm doing the happy dance. This Junesters board means the world to me. You are all such great people. Thanks!

I went off one of my BP meds as well. It is so fun to drop a medication rather than adding one. Right before my surgery, my doctor wanted to put me on cholesterol medication. It was delayed because of my impending surgery and now I don't need it. Congratulations!!! Gwen

That's terrific Jen! It's not just a "wow moment" it's a whole WOW day! Congrats on getting off the bp med too, pretty soon you'll be losing that other one too, and it'll be another celebration! Donna
