is everyone still like sticking to there list to eat off of, or are you kinda just doing it on your own, i am noticing that i eat more at dinner than any time during the day. i mean i eat off a saucer plate but yeah i can eat a whole piece of fish and some veggies with a spoon full of rice, am not measuring are you guys all measuring and weighing and stuff or you just kinda going by how you feel or what, cause to me dinner is when i am the most hungry, but i dont snack or nothen i have my protein in the morning then like yesterday i had a slice of taost with peanut butter and a peice of watermelon, for lunch is that like way to much food cause it seems like it to me. then i had a rice cake in the afternoon with all my water i get in all my water, then i have my dinner and nothen unless i have a bit of protein before bed. how are you all doing it. i dont even know if i have lost anymore since last week i went to the doc and i am down 56lbs getting close to 60 yippee but i aint been walking much or nothen i think i got west nile i have no energy or nothen, what is wrong with me.

well Serena, my dear...... I've NEVER measured. I'm too lazy. We're all different though and all of our bodies respond differently. I can eat more now than I could in the beginning, I know that is normal. I still don't eat a lot but I never eat to the point where I feel miserable or like I'm about to bust either. If I go to put a bite in my mouth and my stomach starts to feel full... I just put it down. I know some people do measure out and weigh and all that..... well, thats just not me. And to be honest, its not really practical. You have to learn your own limits and do what your body is telling you to do..... so learn how it tells you when its full and to stop eating. As far as the energy.... have you started taking B-12 yet? That made a huge difference for me. I take a 2500mcg sublingual micro lozenge once a week... usually on Friday. It honestly works....... I was dragging Friday afternoon about 2pm and ready to take a nap, dreading the football game that night.. then I remembered, OH YEAH, its Friday, I need to take that........ so I did and I stayed up that night, went to the football game, wasn't tired, wasn't yawning.... I was probably up until about 1 and had never had a nap. So you might check into the B-12 thing. How are you doing with all your other vitamins? Mel T

I don't measure either. But I can't eat much at a time. Sometimes I can handle a whole slice of toast but most of the time just half.I eat less than 1/4 cup of anything by eyeballing i****ermelon, berries, applesauce No problem. I am never hungry. I literally eat by the clock. Breakfast, lunch by 12:30 dinner 6-6:30. I was finding that I was beat in the afternoons and havev upped the B12 2500 mcg to daily. And Iron to 4 times a week. Seems to have helped.

Well, I'm one of the few who still measures and weighs stuff when I'm making my meals. I do this mostly because I couldn't tell when I was full in the beginning, until I was puking it up. The nerve endings in your stomach are cut during surgery and it takes a few months for them to heal. I'm just now starting to get the full feeling before I get so full I puke. I measure and weigh so I don't take too much and end up wasting it, since I'm one of those people who HATE to throw away food and will cram it in even if I'm full. It's something I'm trying to break myself of, but it's a lifetime habit and hard to break. Alot of people still get tired every afternoon until about 3 months out, I hear alot. I started taking B12 and I don't need to nap as much as I did last month, that's for sure. Only after a hard workout in the gym do I still feel like passing out by lunch time . By the way, I tried jogging for the first time yesterday. I think I'm still too heavy to try that LOL. Donna
