moved Kayla into the dorm yesterday and she was in a car accident today. She is fine, just some bruises and gun powder burns from the air bag and her passenger has a concussion and a sore neck, but was sent home. Kayla was doing well when I was down there and I told her to go in take a shower, some advil and relax. Her car is more than likely totalled according to two of the tow guys. The girls in the other car had no injuries. It could have been so much worse, I'm so thankful that everyone is in good shape. I talked to Kayla after I had gotten to my parents (about an hour after I left her) and she was crying and shaken up. I think the adrenelin was up before. If you'd say a prayer for all the girls involved and for quick healing and peace for Ana and Kayla, I would appreciate it SO much. I better get some sleep. Pam Thanks in advance!

Amen to the seatbelts and airbags! Kayla refuses to put the car in motion unless everyone is buckled up. We've had 3 years in a row where kids in her school one grade after another that have passed away in car accidents and had they been wearing their seatbelts, most would have been okay. Pam

Prayers sent from Ohio!! I glad everything was ok thank GOD for seat belts. Reminds me to start wearing mine more. I only wear mine on the highways. But stories like this bring a vivid light to me. Blessings, Valarie

I'm glad you are going to start wearing yours, ummm (all the time?). *S* Statistics actually show that most accidents occur within 1 mile of home, so highway or not...buckle up girlie! Pam

Pam: thanks goodness it wasn't worse! You might want to have her go to the doctor just in case. When my sister was in an accident, she hurt worse 3 or 4 days later. Someone was definitely watching out for them. hugs, judi j
