Not that anyone asked....... but

Hunter's surgery went fine. Took a little longer than they thought it would, but it went well. He's now got 3 pins in his finger and a temporary cast until next Monday at which time he'll get another cast that will be on 5 weeks ... then on to a splint for another 8 weeks. He still swears he's playing in this weeks game.... uh yeah, with 3 pins? ummm OK Today is also my 3 month post op..... I feel great, losing weight again instead of being stalled out. I'm gonna wait until next Tuesday to post, since that will be an official weight from the Dr. I guess they'll be doing bloodwork and such too. Mel T

Mel - I am glad that your son's surgery went well. It is always nervewracking. My anniversary date is tomorrow and I am also at a stall. My total weight loss is about 60 lbs which I am very happy about as long as the numbers keep going down. Gwen

Oh Mel, so happy to hear surgery went well today. I pray his recovery goes really smoothly as well. Sounds like he's all boy, that's exactly what my son said after he fractured his collarbone in two places and had a plate and 8 pins put in..."Well, I can still skateboard right?!" LOL Ummmm, nope!
