New find to share

At my recent support group meeting, one of the things that was brought up is protien water. Most everyone had heard of Special K which had 5 g protien for about 20 oz. they now have an instant that I found that is 59 cents per packet, also sold by the box for 3.99 for 7 packets. But the new one that was mentioned was Stacker 2 protien water - 19.44 oz, 80 Cal, 0 fat and 0 sugar with 20 Grams of protien. I got the pink lemonade flavor tonight. It is actually pretty good. They had sour apple and grape at the local superstore. It was 1.49 per bottle. Not only will it help me get my protien in every day, but also with my water intake. I think that this is a great find. The other item was Detour Low sugar carmel peanut bars. If you are a fan of snickers you ,may want to look this up. 170 cal, 5 g fat, 3 g sugar and 15 protien. took care of my sweet tooth today. I have been drinking the Stacker 2 since I got home from the hospital. I buy it at Walmart and then I dont have to drink those awful shakes My favs are the sour apple and the pink lemonade. I have also bought the ones from GNC...except they have 40 g of protein per bottle. Trouble is our bodies can only absorb 20 g at a time, so to drink more is wasting it. I also like the Good2go, I also buy at walmart. There are 3 flavours, lemon ice tea, pineapple and peach/mango. They mix with one bottle of water. Becky

Thanks for the tip Pam! I added everything you mentioned to my shopping list. The neat thing is, if my Walmart doesn't carry it, I go to Walmart.com and order it from there and they will ship it to the store I shop at for free. Donna
