I am only going about once a week myself. I think its pretty normal. Sometimes I find I dont go for a week, then I will go two days in a row. then not for a week again. The answer is of course more fibre. I added bran flakes to my diet this morning. I think I will try to have them every other day or so. Becky

Hey Veronica, we had our surgery the same day! At first, I was not going but once a week or so. Here lately, I go about every 3-5 days. Not anything regularly, but not enough to cause discomfort either. I did get constipated once. Glad I haven't done that again! Denise

Hey Veronica! I wouldn't worry about it....first of all, not embarassing at all. We can talk about anything here....we've all been there and know where you are coming from. Secondly, take into consideration the amount of food you are able to eat now, there isn't enough for more than that more than likely. I agree if you aren't in pain or bloating, you're fine. Pam

Hey y'all, I don't know whether RNYers can do prunes, but my doctor said I could, and they keep everything on the normal side for me. Just a suggestion for you, but four little prunes a day really changed things for me. Oh, and even though the doctor said I would go less often now, I still have a bm about once a day, and the little prunes just help things go more smoothly. Hope this helps. Oh, and Veronica, no embarrassment. I swear there's nothing in life this group won't talk about. It's about the safest place in the webiverse. Take care everyone! Cindy
