somewhat disappointed

Well, I am....... but not with the WLS or anything. My 3 month anniversary is Tuesday (the 4th) and I've had my 3 month post-op appointment for about 1 month now and actually looking forward to it. Weird to look forward to getting on a scale and having blood drawn... but I was/am. My dr's office does a 1 week, 3 month and then 6month post op... then 1 a year. So I haven't been in awhile. So anyway....... to the disappointment. My son.... the freshman athlete, dislocated his finger in a football game last week. They've scheduled him for surgery on Tuesday ..... the same day as my appointment. So I'm rescheduling for the next week, hopefully. It's a small procedure that they have to do... 10-15 minute out patient procedure with like an hour recovery. He'll be fine.... although, I dont really like the idea of my kids being ill or in surgery. ACK! So.... I guess I won't be posting a 3 month post op appointment blog. It will instead be a 3 month and 1 week post op appointment blog.... so get your reading glasses ready!!! =) Mel T

Hi Mel, stinking kids messing up our plans...LOL (just kidding) I know isn't it funny now what we look forward to??? i mean last month my support group meeting got cancelled and i was devistated.....LOL i hope your son's surgery goes well i am sure it wilL!!! LET US KNOW AND KEEP IN TOUCH!!! CRYSTAL
