Fruits
Hey Beth! For fresh fruit, I've only tried bananas and a little bit of watermelon. I do eat 'no sugar added' applesauce and 'no sugar added' peaches, those are both pre-packaged. I've been a little scared to try other fresh fruits myself. I think I'm kind of stuck in what I've been eating and don't move far from it. So, I know how you are feeling, it's not silly at all. Well, unless I'm silly too. *S*
All you can do is try it and eat it very slowly....if there is going to be a problem, you will know before you eat too much.
Let us know how different fruits work for you...ummm, so I know. LOL

Hey girlie!
Thanks for the info. I havent tried the no sugar added applesauce yet. That is on my list though. I will let you know how everything goes. I bought some watermelon and plan on trying it tomorrow. I also created a new apple crisp recipe. It smells good but I am not really "good in the kitchen" so I am a little scared to try it! Maybe I'll have my kids try it first. LOL If it is good I will post it! I made it with real apples, splenda brn sugar, whole wheat flour etc .... wish me luck!

Beth: if you dump easily be careful with the watermelon. just try a little. i have a feeling i am not a dumper but i have seen some folks post that it gave them problems.
One of the first fruits on my NUT list was what Pam suggested, the NSA peaches.
I've had watermelon, cantelope, bananas and cherries when they were in season.
good luck and let us know how it goes!

Watermelon was my first fruit. It goes down so easily that it is my fave, next to SF popsicles. My 2nd fruit was about 1/4 of a bananna. I eat it very slowly and chew it up well. That also goes down pretty well. I got brave a week or so ago and tried a cup of mixed fresh fruit from the grocery deli area. It had watermelon, canteloupe, grapes, strawberries and pineapple. I divided the cup into 3 meals and it was absolutely awesome!!! Try them when you are home just in case you do have a problem with fruit; I didn't have a problem but everyone is different. Enjoy!
