I wanted to take a second and bring up the postive things that we can do that we haven't been able to do prior to WLS. I'll go first: 1) Swing on a Swing set with out my butt hurting 2) Lots of energy 3) Ride a Bike- a funny note on this. I jump on the bike and ride it very prouldy down the drive way, my husband yells out hey i think you have a flat tire. I look at him an shrug "nope... just fat" ...lol but you know what. I didn't care because i could do it! 4) Fit back into my 24's. WOW its been about 10 years! Thank God i am a horder...lol 5) Look someone in the eye and tell them "its to bad you don't like it but I am your manager and this is how it is!" the self esteem is great! Jamie

-Chase my son around while crawling around on the floor. -Climb the stairs without my knees and ankles killing me. - Bend over to shave my legs without sucking in my stomach so I can reach. - End the day without my feet and legs killing me from standing all day. - So much more energy. - Put on a bathing suit and not feel so conscience. - Wear a size 2 x shirt for the first time in probably 7 years. - Wearing size 24 capri's for the first time in many years.

1. Wear my wedding ring on my finger again. It's been on a chain around my neck for the past 5 years....and I've been married for 6 years lol. It's almost falling off my finger now! 2. Walk forever! It's been a good 10 years since I've been able to walk for more than 10-15 minutes before needing to rest my back. I can walk for 2 hours now before I need to rest my legs (not my back at all now). 3. Look forward to weighing myself. There were many years that I didn't own a scale and I only weighed when I went to the doctor (and that wasn't very frequent either). 4. I'm able to put my pants on while standing! I had to perform this new trick for my husband several times so I could share this joy with him lol. 5. I'm able to put my shoes on with my hands, not slide my feet in while the shoes are on the floor. There's probably more, but I'm exhausted tonight Donna

Hmmm....things I have noticed 1) Can have ....um... sex with my husband and we can actually face each other. (before it always felt like he was crushing me, when actually I was crushing myself) 2) on holidays last week, It was my idea to hike to the point along the very hilly trail, I did it without getting winded, feeling like I wanted to die or wondering whose stupid idea it was. I could have walked further even. I have never even attempted to hike this trail before and we have gone to this campground 7 years in a row. 3)I can reach any part of my body with my hands and just last week I saw my own pubic hair without looking in a mirror I know there are tons more but thats what is coming to mind right now...sorry if any of it was TMI Becky
