My doc is not good at giving info - for my dietary guidelines. Basically we have a list of approved foods, and we are supposed to eat 2 oz three times a day. I really want to track better than this... What do all of you have for guidelines? Calories? Fat? Sodium? Cholesterol? Fiber? Carbs? Sugar? Protein? I'm trying to put a tracker together and need my daily targets - so I thought I'd ask the group since we are all pretty much at the same stage of the game. Thanks! Kyla

My surgeon and nutritionist have been recommending taking in 600-800 calories a day and 60-65 grams of protein a day. As for the rest, I'm to make sure that no more than 20% of calories come from fat (so I'm learning math now ), and I'm to make sure that the sugar content of anything I eat is 10 grams or less, but there's no range to stay within. Basically, they told me to keep a careful count of protein, and keep the fat calories to 20% or less...everything else will fall into place. Donna

Thanks Donna! I'm going to set my caloric intake like yours, and I've been keeping the fat low and protein high too. Kyla
