I'm embarrassed to post my menu for today. It was my sons big birthday party and I was SO busy the entire day I didn't eat anything! Wasn't even tempted by the birthday cake either I did finally eat some cottage cheese around 4. It's so funny to not be hungry! Its late so I doubt I get anymore in, but if I'm up late enough I might try to sneak in a protein shake. B: nothing L: nothing D: 1/4 cottage cheese S: SF Jello S: SF Bomb Pop 249 Calories 3 Fat 27 Carbs 28 Protein

Hi, My Dr. says no bread, pasta rice or tortillas for 6 months. It is weird how the rules are so varied from Dr. to Dr. Claudia

What I do is I buy the I cant believe its not butter spray. I spray the pan with two squirts. Then I take a piece of bread and cut it in 1/2 and put one small squirt on each 1/2. Then I take a piece of cheese and put it in the middle. I grill it up and voila! I let it cool a little and cut the 1/2 sandwich into 4's and chew chew chew.... The slice of bread is a little smaller than normal bread. It's only 35 cal. a slice. I did very well with it. It just sounded good and I thought I would try it. I dont think it will be a regular food because of the bread but I dont think there was alot of fat in it! Good luck if you try it and let me know how it goes! Beth BTW: My nut said I could try a 1/2 slice of toast. Bread is ok every once in a while as long as it is toasted to begin with. I hope this helps a little! But you might want to check with your nut too if you havent been okayed for breads!
