Has anyone tried eating sausage balls yet? I was thinking they would be a quick meal and good protein but not sure about the fat in the sausage. It has Bisquik, sausage, cheddar cheese, and a little water. Julie

we made a no crust pizza using sausage and i didn't have any problems. i know some people dump on too much fat so if you can, shoot to keep it low. i don't think i dump on anything (haven't tried sugar yet, don't want to for as long as i can) so i don't know if im a good person to go by. judi

I saw some Italian style turkey sausage in the store yesterday....it interested me, but not enough to try it yet. I'd say give a little bit of regular sausage a try. If it doesn't agree with you, maybe try that turkey stuff? Donna

I had the turkey sausage (breakfast not Italian) and it was pretty good.
