It seems I spend my days (and nights) trying to get comfortable -- heating pad, elevating knee above heart (boy, that's a pretty sight!), pain pills that make me fall asleep. My big adventure was going to the grocery yesterday for my must haves: yogurt and Laughing Cow Lite cheeses. Wasn't on-line much yesterday as that "knee above the heart" position is really difficult sitting at the computer! I would much rather have been at the zoo with you and the kidlings! You must have had an awesome time - you probably led the pack rather than just keeping up! Yesterday my son called to tell me his religious (Muslim) and legal marriage ceremony will be this Saturday in northern VA about 4 hours from my southern VA home. I'm not completely sure of why it's done this way, but the marriage license is signed by the officiant at this preliminary ceremony, which will be followed on September 1 by the marriage reception (a 10-minute "ceremony" followed by 4 hours of dinner and party). They originally were going to go mid-week to the county office with the Muslim officiant, but decided to schedule it at the mosque for the weekend because they were concerned about the reliability of the officiant - apparently he had missed appointments with others during the week at the county office. Anywho, I'm going to try to make the drive Saturday morning, stopping frequently to exercise the knee. Now, what to wear is another whole issue. Everything I have that fits is either V-neck (too much skin showing?), black, white or red (wrong colors for a Muslim wedding), or too casual (Dockers and blouses). Oh, and I have to find a suitable head covering. Son informed me a "do-rag" would not be appropriate! Think he would like my shower cap? It's a lovely pale blue with lace around the edge - quite fashionable if I do say so myself! Today, I'm venturing out to get a pedicure. I had to remove all nail polish for surgery last week and poor toes are embarrassed to be naked anymore. I guess it's back to the grind for you today after your day off yesterday? Give all those potential new clients your best Crystal smile! Lovin' your spirit!

CLeo, well i am glad to hear that you are getting around! I would love to sneak in and get a picture of you in your new sitting arrangement and maybe black mail you a little with it....LOL j/k.............i did have a great time with the kids.....I am not sure about all that (muslim) ceremony thingy either...I think it is nice though that they are incorporating both their religous backgrounds in their marriage.YOU ON THE OTHER HAND BE CAREFUL GOING 4 HOURS AWAY DRIVING TO SAY THE LEAST AND YOU MAKE SURE YOU GET OUT AND EXERCISE THAT KNEE...... as far as clothing I WAS THINKING....how about my zip up boots that i keep talking about for the winter, with a micro mini and YES WHERE THAT V-NECKED RED BLOUSE.......and don't forget the do rag.....LOL......j/k.........that would be hard...I WOULD probably opt for a dark navy or black suit of some sort. OMG DO I NEED TO GET A PEDICURE MYSELF.......poor toes look all jacked up and chipped. Work no work for me until 5:00pm i have a couple of showings...i think i will just say to them ....(pick one) i got to take the big 18 year old son to get his shots.....for college....he wants his mommy to go...LOL then we have to go get his supplies......how is it that i am still paying for all this crap?? LOL then at 7:00pm i have my support group meeting......looking forward to that.... well i will talk to you later my sister girl!!!!!!!!!!
