Try having a protein shake before bed. I had this in the early days and this is what my surgeon recommended.

Good Morning Everyone, I'm here at work and sneeking in on you all. I usually wait till I'm at home but this website is addicting. About the morning nausea, my nut told me to drink something warm first thing everymorning so that it'll help. She said that everymorning we wake up with mucus in our stomaches (that is everyone, not just bariatric people) but since our stomachs are so small, we will get nauseated. By drinking something warm first thing, it will help desolve the mucus. It's helped me tremendously. I don't chance it, I just drink the coffee in the morning and it helps. I hope this helped some of you.

That's odd, I never put two and two together till now. I used to feel nauseous when I first woke up (no way in hell I would have been pregnant unless it was the immaculate conception), but then I started drinking a large 16 oz mug of herbal tea in the mornings so I could get 16 oz of my days water in before breakfast. I never even realized that might be why that nauseous feeling went away. Cool, I'm glad I know...cause knowing is half the battle! Donna
