Traveling food??
I am traveling next week on business. I need some good ideas of food to take 'just in case.' 4 hotels in 4 different nights...no fridges.
I'm taking protein powder for sure (plus my supplements), and was thinking about packing those pre-packages tuna meals -- with the crackers.
What else is out there that needs no refrigeration, or pre-work to eat it?
turkey jerky and protein bars? Just be careful on the protein bars, gotta watch the carbs and the sugar/sugar alcohols.
The tuna is a good idea too. So if you've got that and shakes and the snacks.... you could probably get away with only eating out once or twice while you're there. Plus there's always the soup to go. Most hotels atleast have a microwave you can use, close by the lobby.

Well the only thing I can think of is maybe some small cans of refried beans or chili and a little can opener. That and soy chips. If there's a Wendy's or Taco Bell nearby you can always get chili or pintos and cheese.
What kind of foods are you eating now? I went out to eat at Garfields bar and grill last weekend and had a chicken taco salad that was awesome. I just didn't eat the deep fried bowl lol. A lot of restaurants will make things special if you ask em, but since I don't know what you can eat, it's hard to make suggestions.
If I can think of more, I'll post em.

You could buy some of the IDS New Whey Liquid Protein bullets. They have 42 grams of protein in a little tube. Plus they are in non-breakable tubes that don't have to be refrigerated or anything! I have ordered some just to have on hand for when I need some extra protein.

This is where I ordered mine from.
