This is all new, I have been standing up and falling down as if I am drunk. What up with that? Has anyone else had this happen? It is really scary it seems to only be about 20 seconds, my head and ears are tingly as if when your leg falls asleep? It has happened 3 times since last night. Before anyone asks, No I am not up to 1000 calories I find that impossiable never have been able to since the surgery. I am up to about 400. I drink about 5 16 oz glasses of water. Blessings, Valarie

Definitely go to the dr - that's not normal and sounds like it could be your blood pressure or hypoglycemia. Are you getting enough protein in during the day? You may need more water depending on your weight also. Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm not up to a 1000 calories either. I'm only eating 1/4 c of food at a time and no snacks except items that count as water like sf jello & sf popsicles. I would call my doctor if I were you, that doesn't sound right! You're doing awesome with your water!

I had the same thing about 2 weeks ago. I went to the doc and they drew blood. Surprise surprise, I was slightly anemic and my electrolytes were way out of whac. I had to take a second multi vite to increase the iron, and I had to take an electrolyte powder daily for 2 weeks (EmergenC is what I use... mmmmmm tang flavored) Within 2 days, I didn't have the problems any more. I too am not up to 1000 cals (OK, anyone who is, shout?) And am more like 700. The PCP also said that electrolytes are what balance you when you make transitions, so if you are not having enough, there's a prob! Get to the doc, let them tell you what's going on.

if you are on bp meds your dose may be too high now. otherwise, yeh what they all said! my nutritionist wants me at 800 calories a day. the last 2 days i felt like I ate A LOT and I was at the 700 mark. She thought that was good. I still feel like a pig compared to all of you. Take care of yourself, let us know what the doc says!

Ok Fellow Junesters, I am dehydrated!!!! Went to ER and blood work showing dehydration. I took 4 liters of fluid through the veins. I feel a whole lot better now. This was caused from our OHIO heat, lack of required fluids, and me trying to do my excercising. So now I know. Thanks for all the advice you guys are AWESOME! Blessings, Valarie
