2nd Day at the Gym... and it wasn't so bad!

Hi Everybody!!! Well today was my 2nd day at the gym. Yesterday I was beat and sore. Today I feel much better. I was able to do almost 1 hour of working out. I start out with about 5 minutes on the treadmill. Then use some of the weight lifting machines. Then back on the treadmill for another 5 minutes. I know that doesn't sound like much but for me its great because I've been pretty much bed bound for the last 2 years. I am hoping to go to the gym 4 or 5 days a week to get healthy and stronger. Hope everyone has a great week. I will keep reading your posts. Thanks again for some great suggestions, support and encouragement.

way to go Miguel! 1 hour of the gym sounds awesome to me! I haven't gotten up the courage to join a gym yet. As someone on another message board told me: If you want to be a skinny b*tch, you have to do what they do! (im still a chicken) I admire your determination. I've noticed with my bike riding that what kills me on day 1 is fairly easy on day 3. Must be working eh? Keep keeping us posted, congratulations! judi

Congrats! I am on my second week at Curves for women. Never set foot in a gym before in my life. I like it because it's just women and it's only 30 minutes. Working for me so far. Good luck to you.!

That's awesome Miguel! I've also been trying to kick up my exercise but I've had so much going on in my life that I've kind of slowed down again. Fortunatley I start my dance class on the 22nd (belly dancing - which I would have never taken before!). I think it's great that you're getting out there and doing it! Keep up the good work!
