I am 7 weeks out. I still have no appetite. Nothing really sounds good. When something does sound good, it never tastes as good as I thought it would. I can only eat about 4-5 bites before I get full. Is that normal. I would much rather drink than eat, but I am starting to gag on the darn protein drinks that I spent a fortune on! Any one else having the same problem/blessing? Thanks, Deb

HI Debbie, i am about 10days behind you and i still literally only eat a few bites at each meal. The main thing is to eat protein first and even if you only eat a few bites at each meal. (well that is what my nut tells me)I too alot of times would rather drink. Just keep trying to try some new things eventually hopefully something will taste better to you! Take care! Crystal

I am a week or so ahead of you and have the same issues. I have yet to have "hunger" strike. Sometimes the smell of things put me off. I eat mostly protien and vegetables. Some crackers with some of my cheese. Protien drink every morning, and I vary what I drink. I have both ready to drink and dry powder. I go back to my manual from Barix and look the recepies over find something different. My days are generally the same for food, just vary the items. Breakfast is shake of some kind Snack almonds or cashews Lunch - soup of some kind Snack - cheese and crackers Snack - Blue Bunny Smoothie Supper - shrimp, fish or chicken (rarely) Snack - tonight it was 1/4 c grits. Sometimes I have to add a protien bullet depending on what I consume

I am still having a hard time getting my calories and protein in too. My Doc thinks it is a fear factor with me, he thinks I am to afraid to eat anymore. Also, maybe your food is to thick. I hope this helps! Blessings, Valarie
