Just didn't want people to miss your introduction response in Susans' post. welcome WELCOME Joe to the June board. Great to see you post. You said that you were introduced more slowly back into foods. What are you eating at this point? Sounds like all is going well! Take care and post again. Don't forget to add your total loss to the Monday Weigh in. *S* Pam

Hey thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. After my operation I was on pureed food for 4 weeks so it was soup or mashed potatoes. then I have three stages of introducing new foods each stage lasting 3 weeks. Stage 1. Soft cooked eggs, cottage cheese, finely minced meats e.t.c. Stage 2. Tinned fruit, tinned meat, cooked vegetables, rice pudding Stage 3. Tender meats, raw fruit, cereal, pasta, biscuits, salads and toast ****oasted bread of any kind to be left until much later). I had my operation in a Bupa hospital and received a lot of advice which helped me a lot. The one person however that really got me through this was my mother *****ally maid sure that whenever I may try to cheat a bit that I kept strong and stuck to the guidelines. so at the moment I am half way through stage 1. I have been able to keep myself to a good fitness regime with a run every other day (however short it is it still involves running at some point lol) and then i have been able to walk about 5 miles. onve again thanks everyone Joe
