abdominal pain... what to do?

Hi everyone. Okay, here is the reader's digest version of my problem: I have low abdominal pain. It's constant, sometimes it gets worse especially when I go to lay down on my side or stomach. Now I have upper abdominal pain, too, and it seems to happen when I eat meat or when I drink ANYTHING. My PCP said it was a bladder infection, although I couldn't give him a urine sample so he can't be 100% sure. Have been to the ER twice(this all started last Sunday). I don't have a fever(although I do feel warm), a little bit of nausea, and the pain. OH the pain. B/c of my moronic insurance, I wasn't able to get the antibiotic in liquid form. Only in HORSE PILL SIZE. So I have to crush/crack them. It tastes horrible, but applesauce seems to do the trick. And splenda. Lots and lots of splenda. So what do I do? Wait until tomorrow to call my PCP back? Call my surgeon? I do not want to go back to the ER again. DO NOT. My poor arms are so full of holes right now(matches my head, but you know, whatever). HELP PLEASE!

I would call your surgeon and see if they have any ideas. Maybe they have someone on call that could help you tonight. Hopefully its nothing... maybe gas?

Perhaps you are consipated? I read on another board similar symptoms that someone was FOS. She was diagnosed by an xray. Good luck and let us know what happens.
