Ok, well I ended up having that procedure where they stick the scope down to your pouch. Well I had Dr. Kathwala (I think I spelled that wrong) Anyway, he ended up widening my esophogas and my pouch a little. He said I have been having acid reflux and it caused a small ulcer to form in my esophagas and in turn that casued scar tissue to start forming and so he medicated the area and my pouch he didn't think was that bad off but he widened it a little so I could actually eat lol, he figured that would be a good thing. The procedure was fairly fast and painless, haven't had any problems with discomfort, a little irritated throught afterwards, and tiredness (whats new) but besides that, I feel fine. He put me on Protonics and said I should be feeling better by Monday...I'm supposed to call them and let them know how I am doing. But I thinks thats all I had to say. God Bless!

I had the same problem, and I had my esophogas widened (tossing all the time gave me scar tissue too) but I still continued to throw up. When I had my follow-up the dr. had me get an upper gi and boy was that the pits...but the funny thing is, since the upper gi, well 2 days after the gi, i was able to eat and not get sick. mind you, it was only a teaspoon full, but it still was food and it stayed down. i like it!!!
