No problems with cheese here yet. I've tried low fat swiss, ricotta, cottage cheese, mozarella, shredded cheddar, all kinds. I just make sure to chew it up real well. Maybe it's a lactose intolerance thing? I dunno if that is just for milk or for all dairy products. Donna

I've mostly done the laughing cow light french onion, one triangle per sitting. And I"ve added cheese to Wendy's chili. I think I'm lactose intolerant for straight milk but seem to handle yogurt and cheese fine. We are all so different, maybe try again in a couple of weeks?

I haven't had any problems Crystal, but some people do become lactose intolerant after surgery. Or, there may be too much fat in the cheese you are eating? I've eaten shredded cheddar, but don't use as much of that as I would mozzerella as mozz. has less fat. Good luck darlin! Pam

I've been eating oaxaca cheese which is mexican mozzarella. I have to eat it first otherwise it doesn't sit well with me, then I eat my lunch meat or a cracker after. Cheese makes the back of my throat feel filmy and that makes me not feel so hot...

I love my cheese. I swear I must have been a mouse in a former life. LOL I have really found a new one that i really like. It is laughing Cow chese bites. They are little squares and the cheese is really soft and very tasty. One serving is 5 pieces. If you go to their web site you can find stores in your area that carry it. Only one does in my town but they had a bunch of different kinds.

My nut. had told me to use the low-fat or fat free cheese. I don't have any problems with them. I have not tried the regular cheese.

Hey Crystal, I have no problem with small amounts of lowfat cheese, but my one experience with regular cheese was pretty painful, so I'm sticking to the lowfat, which is probably good advice for anyone. Cindy
