Meeting a fellow RNY'er tomorrow

Tomorrow, I am meeting someone who had their surgery in Dec who lives about 2 miles from me. I can't wait because she is bringing me a ton of clothes that are too small on her that she only wore 1 time or not at all. How awesome is that!!! Just wanted to share my good news! Amy

I wish you the best. I met a fellow RNY who lives a couple miles from me. Just the support that I get from her being post op two months before has been a ton of help. I wish everyone could fine a buddy like that, it has made the last month alot easier.

That is SOOOOOOOOOOO awesome Amy! Support is great from those that are farther out, I have a very good friend that had surgery 2 years ago. But when they come bearing clothes....welllllll BONUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! *S* Pam

Luckily I have support from a previous RNY'er right in my own home. My husband had RNY in 2004. But, I can't borrow his clothes! I can't wait! Maybe I can find someone who is in need of MY clothes. Amy

That's awesome Amy! I haven't met anyone off the site yet, but I get a lot of support at the group meetings we have at the hospital. I don't know what I'd do without my meetings & this website! On another note... I just signed up for a cardio belly dancing class! it doesn't start until August 22! I can't wait! It sounds like a lot of fun!
