i ate a spoonful of ice cream... i think out of frustration. i wasn't hungry and i didn't even want it. i think i was hoping it would make me sick... maybe because i wanted to not want that sort of thing... and hoping that my body would be unable to tolerate it... i didn't get sick. but now i'm mad at myself... it was only a spoonful of light ice cream, but still... i'm supposed to be over this part already, right? i'm still not hungry or having cravings, I don't even know why I did it. what the hell is wrong with me?

I don't think anything is wrong with you, I think it's what you said. You were hoping that you would find out you dumped and wanted to experiment. I've thought about it, but don't really want to go through dumping if I do. I haven't brought any of that stuff into the house, I don't want the temptation. I am sure that you are not the only one that has tested the waters, and you know it wasn't the smart thing to do and next time, you'll think about it first. Take care! Pam

Thanks Pam! I guess I was testing the waters. My husband and I live with my mom and she eats that stuff. She's one of those naturally petite people that can eat anything (my husband is like that too). Trust me the only "sweets" i buy now are sugar free popsicles (i think they have 15 calories) and sugar free Jello (which has about the same amount of calories as the popsicles). Yes I will think before I eat from now on... Thanks again!

Okay you did it and it's over with. You just had a little diversion with the see-food diet. Just because your family members may be petite or thin it doesn't always mean they're healthy. YOU are going to be healthy and learn good habits. YOU are a brave and strong person! So there!!! Nanny-nanny-boo-boo! I'm so glad I don't have any cravings either. I'm counting on what the doctor said - this is the easiest time to eat right because typically you aren't hungry nor do you have cravings. I don't want the food others are eating and the only thing that affects me are food smells sometimes (like a restaurant cooking steak or really good burgers), but they don't drive me to distraction as they would have in the past.
