plateau

I'm almost exactly the same as you Michelle. I lost more weight than I was asked to pre-op and 21 pounds since surgery, so it's a little over 50 pounds all together. I have heard that everyone stalls (not really a plateau, since those can last for months) around 2-5 weeks out from surgery. I had my stall last about a week, but the scale started moving for me again yesterday. I read on a lot of message boards and I see soooo many people have the same problem, which makes me realize this is pretty normal for everyone, so I don't worry about stalls too much. They are a fact of life with WLS as our bodies adjust. Just keep doing what you're doing and the scale will move again soon! Donna

Thank you everyone for keeping me motivated. I dropped 1/2 a pound this morning. Do all of you weigh everyday? I do... Maybe I shouldn't?
