Ok girls, I'll play. I am thankful for two beautiful daughters that doctors say I shouldn't have been able to carry to a viable pregnancy. I am thankful for my huge and wonderful family...brothers, sister, mom, and all their children and spouses. I am thankful for my education and for being gainfully employed....especially working with children because they really are the most precious things on earth. I am thankful that I not only survived surgery but I am well on my way to a new thinner, healthier me. I am thankful for my close friends who have helped me through so much over the years. I am thankful for the most wonderful husband in the world. I am thankful for my OH family. Just don't know what I would do without you Mary

I'm grateful that ... I had this surgery My surgeon was able to repair my colon laparoscopically after he perforated it I didn't have any other complications I've lost 48 lbs total, 28 since my surgery I've found support at ObesityHelp I'm off all of my diabetic medications I'm wearing a size 14W instead of 22/24W My serum ferritin is 24 ... I have hemocromatosis, a potentially deadly iron loading disorder. Since the surgery I haven't had to have a phlebotomy. My friend Candice is doing so much better is now home from the hospital My son Chris asked his beloved Christine to marry him and she said yes My son Michael is happy and his brother, my in-laws, and his dog Blue My daughter Sarah is enjoying her summer in CA with her extended family My husband started a new job My husband's job will provide us with better insurance coverage I guess that's enough for today.
