ok ok i am bored but i love this message board....has anyone encoutered this
Hmmm... Perhaps I'm wired differently from others but I tell everyone I had the surgery! I'm not ashamed of my decision to have it and I find it helps to edcuate those around me.
If they are looking, let them look. At least I'm not invisible to them anymore, and besides, who says they weren't looking before???
Maybe they aren't looking any more now than they were before - have you stopped to think that maybe you're just more aware of everyone's stares now that you're losing weight??
Crystal, I bet Briggitte is right. You're so pretty, and I'll bet they're just enjoying watching the changes you're going through physically. Perhaps you could change your thinking about it, like Cleo said. Just assume they are admiring the new and improved view! Your success will educate some, make others jealous, and not matter one whit to other people. But know that the changes you're making in your life, and the joy you're getting from those changes, makes you more attractive every day--not just physically, but in how you carry yourself, and how you talk to people. Hey, we're happier now, and that can't help but come out when we're with others. Think of it as a public service. You're spreading joy, instead of Jif!!!!!!!!!
