ok ok i am bored but i love this message board....has anyone encoutered this
Since i have had my surgery and i have gone back to work.......most of the people i work with know that i have had this surgery...but i walk in and i feel them looking me up and down all the time......it's like they are trying to see how much weight i have lost........i hate it........i feel like i am on a camera watch all the time
just thought i would vent and see how you handle this..........
I only told my sister I was having surgery - no one at work. I hate the thought of people knowing my personal business and didn't want what you're getting. I've only told 2 people at work that I'm dieting under a doctor's care and using protein supplements. One of them called me her "GSF" today. I had to ask her what she meant - "getting skinnier friend". That's okay! You should just flaunt what you've done. You're gorgeous! Or, wear those too big PJs to work and when they fall off, your workmates will see for themselves you've lost a lost! Hehehe!
CLEO I ALMOST PEED MYSLEF WHEN I READ WEAR MY PJ'S.....TO WORK.......LOL...LOL.LOL......i know i wouldn't have told them but 2 of the ladies had the surgery and of course i was like a sponge asking them all about it......and then you know i had to get someone to cover all my deals and customers when i was out...etc etc i wish i had not told them.......but then you tell a few and before i knew it pretty much all 54 agents know.....LOL......thank you for telling me i am gorgeous...(it has been really hard for me to take compliments).........thank you for your support
That's why I didn't tell anyone else I was having surgery. I didn't want the looks and the thoughts of others thinking I was once again failing a diet. A gal at my husbands work had the surgery and her co-workers talk about her behind her back all the time. They have even made the comment how they think she is putting the weight back on. Life is hard enough without having others waiting for you to fail!
I say ignore them - you are doing great!
