Well, I had my surgery two weeks ago. Although I have my moments of "What was I thinking", for the most part it has been a blessing thus far. I rarely want food, although occasionally I really want a Hot Dog or a piece of Pizza. I am a bit tired of my food options right now, but I have not been all that creative with the spices. In two weeks, my wedding ring went from tight, to practically falling off my finger, which is kind of cool! Speaking of cool, I am cold all the time, and really didn't expect that to happen at all!!! It's weird how the body works. My supplements are all going down ok, although I am sick of isopure. I really feel pretty good, and am looking forward to getting a few items added to the menu at the one month appt. Marcie is doing wonderful, and our baby is growing lots. We cannot wait to meet her, but we will not have to wait long. She is due in just a couple of Months!!! We cannot wait to be parents! I just hope I am a good Father. We have a Dr Appointment tomorrow to check up on the Baby!!!! Everything seems to be going really well!!! Richard I

Richard! So glad everything is going so well. I've heard putting the isopure in the blender with ice makes a nice shake...might try that. I have a feeling you are going to be a WONDERFUL daddy! Pam

Thank God we have this topic, I thought I was going Mental! Kodus on making it 2 weeks, and on your baby. I quit smoking a long time ago and now I am wanting to smoke again. No one will give me a smoke. I went down 2 sizes already and yes the wedding ring loose. I am living on KFC mashed potatoes and gravy with my protien sprinkled in it. Blessings, Valarie

I quit smoking the day before my surgery. Doc told me if I did not quit he was not doing the surgery. Well I was sick after surgery. My intestines kind of paralyzed. Like my body was trying to reject the surgery. I had to go back in the hospital a few days later and thank goodness everything started functioning again. It was really bad for a few days. I told the dr I rather weigh 300 lbs rather than feel like I was feeling but then everything went good and now I have good days and bad days but more good and getting better everyday. I still don't want to smoke. Smoking slows and sometimes delays the healing process. I feel 100% better since I quit smoking. I walked 1 mile yesterday and was not out of breath. 1st time I can remmeber walking more than 1/4 of a mile without being out of breath. DH told me I was a cheap date now. Don't smoke, Don't drink, and Don't eat anymore!!!!! Of course he was joking.
