Interesting Fact about Pureed Foods

My husband really wanted to go out to eat after church yesterday. I am supposed to move to pureeds on Tuesday, so I made the switch 2 days early and went with him. Did you know that most restaurants will puree your food for you if you just ask? I had pureed chicken tortilla soup with a side of refried beans. (I think I brought more home that the couple of spoonfuls that I ate .) My kids thought I was nuts, but it worked and I was able to enjoy a Sunday dinner with my family. I would never have thought about asking a restaurant to puree my food until a friend who works at a nursing home said they would do it. I tried it and it worked!!! Melissa
