I ended up staying an extra day because my dr was called out of town unexpectedly, but I'm doing really well. It does seem like a lot of work to drink enough fluids, but I'm getting them in. I'm also really enjoying walking. The more I do, the better I feel. Everyone was right on that! How is everyone else? Wendy

Welcome Home Wendy! Glad to hear you are doing well. I am doing better. Not as sore now, even taken my kids to a B-day party and grocery shopping for them over the weekend then back to work today. Keep up the good work.

I'm so glad you're doing well and everything went alright. Did you get to buy any sugarfree popsicles? They can help you get fluids in. Drinking water was very difficult for me the first year or so.

Welcome home, Wendy! Proud of you for getting those fluids in. I am still having a problem with that. Keep walking and sipping. You're doing great!

YAY Wendy! YOU LOSER! *S* So glad to hear that you are doing so well, walking is amazing isn't it?! For you to be getting all your fluids in already is so awesome, keep up the GREAT work! I am up to 5 cups a day (40 oz) and they want to me to work up to 6-8 cups (48-64 oz). Take care, Pam

Way to go Wendy! I'm about 4 days further along and find it easier and easier to get the fluids in, mainly because I'm not snoozing as much during the day! I'm getting in 6-7 cups/day and even hit 8 once. I have more trouble with chewable vitamins (ick!). Hooray for you liking to walk. I hate it and go to the Y and use the treadmill instead. That way I get some air conditioning and can track exactly what I'm getting in. Can't wait to get back to weight training instead (or in addition to). Good luck!

Welcome home Wendy! Today is my third day home from the hospital and I'm doing well also. I'm walking as well but it wipes me out! My husband took me to Walmart yesterday to walk around and I was aching and ready for some pain meds by the time I got home. We spent maybe 30 mins in the store and I was pooped! I agree that getting enough liquids in is hard at first too. I know I'm not getting 64 oz yet. My surgeon said to just concentrate on healing at first and worry about the water next week. Here's to a speedy recovery for all of us Junesters! Donna
