I am still waiting on a surgery date, but I know its any day now. Has anyone ever gone on a cruise within 6mos of surgery? The focus of cruising for me has usually been the food. Not that I eat the whole time but the option is there and plenty of it! I have one planned for Oct and Feb. What would I possibly be able to enjoy being maybe 3 months out. And I'll be gone for 14 days. I will definitely take my protein shakes and bars. HELP!

i think at that point in your post op recovery...........you should beable to eat MOST of the foods that everyone else is eating.......... same foods just WAY less........ *sighing* I wanna go on a cruise............do you recommend any cheap ones ? (for a first timer)

That's good to hear. Thanks. Cheapest cruise for you,if departing from California, should be Mexican Riviera. If you can find a 3-4 day one that would be great for a first time. If you have FF miles and can leave from Fla. 3-4 day Bahamas is much better, from my experience. It may become your new addiction.
