Can't feel full

I am getting frustrated. I had my lap Band surgery June 8th. I have had some ups and downs with pain management and diarrhea. Now I just can't seem to get full. I have no hunger pangs. Nor sence of fullness. I have tried taking larger spoonfuls. Eating faster. Making my puree a little thicker but I do not feel like I ate. I will feel my stomach getting full around noon after all the small meals and liquids but not my little tummy. Did I really have Lap Band surgery? I feel the same. Sheila

I felt the same way I had surgery on May 23rd and I was really hungry I am not doing the puree things anymore I am just eating slower and chewing really good I have lost 17 pounds since my surgery and I feel ok. Soemtimes I am so sick of it and eat somethign I shouldnt but then I regret it because it goes right through me. I drink plenty of water and crystal light and that seems to be working for me. sheila.. You probably didnt have a fill yet? usually the first time they fill the band, thats when the real stricture kicks in.. about 4 weeks after surgery.. the little pouch has to heal first, before You have a fill. why dont You contact Your surgeon, and ask how things will proceed from here. You are correct. I guess I didn't hear the part that they didn't fill the band until 4 weeks after surgery. I went in yesterday and will have my first fill July 3rd. Thanks Sheila
