Protein questions
I'm looking over the information the nutritionist gave me as well as trying to do some research online, but I thought I would put the question out to all of you that have been through this. What protein supplements have you used and which ones do you like and dislike. I can't seem to find any small quantities in the stores, so I don't want to buy 2 lbs of powder and not be able to stomach it. Also, any good recipes on how to make the powders taste better?
Thanks,
Dana

Hi Dana! My name is Donna and I live in Keller. I go to the smoothie King in Wautauga and the owner is so nice. He has smaple packets of most of his protein shakes and most of the time he will give you a few samples. I have been frequenting there a lot. I don't know what part of Lewisville you re in, but you can head down 1171 to 377. Good luck on your surgery, mine is the 25th. Who are you using? Donna K
I have been playing with my food - and have used Ujury protein (www dot unjury dot com) They do sell sample packs. I really like the chocolate mixed with Diet swiss miss cocoa (NOT the no added sugar one) . Unjury is the one that my program nutritionist reccomended. I have also bought the Optisource premade drinks (they look like juice boxes). I got these from Walgreens dot com. They come in caramel and arent too bad. I figured they'd be easy if I didnt feel like making anything when I get home.
Unjury website has some recipes.
Good luck,
Joan
I ordered the sample pack from www.bariatriceating.com What ever the canned one was tasted yucko, but the matrix and nectar have been great so far!
