Here we go....
First of all, I haven gotten behind on the posts here and I just want to wish all that are coming up for surgery great success and those that are recent post-op, continued healing. To any newbies on the board, Welcome and I'm so glad you've decided to post. OH is a great place for support and friendship.
Work is done for now. I was suppose to only work a half day yesterday before my pre-op class and I ended up going back afterwards and working until 9pm to get more done. Whew. I'm going to dread going back as I know they will have not done anything and I'm going to be swamped right away. Oh well....this surgery is worth it.
The pre-op class was great yesterday, I met a few ladies that are going to be having surgery the day of and a day after me. It was wonderful. Won't be long now and we'll be dancing in the halls of the hospital. LOL Okay, not really dancing I'm sure but, we can dream.
TWO days and a wake up left. Can you believe it? I can't! My official weight loss for the 6 weeks was 21 lbs, but get this, after no bread for 6 weeks, we had Subway after I got home last night and I weighed this morning and I'm down 26 lbs. I don't get it! I did do extra walking yesterday, but really how could I have lost after eating bread? And I do always seem to gain by mid day and that's when I weighed at the surgeons office.
Not sure how much I'll be on fromnow until surgery. I have lots of things to get done around the house before hand and with work being SO busy, I haven't gotten them done.
Take care and be blessed, if I don't get back on before surgery. I'll have someone let you know how things went. Stacey D is going to post for me. I may have my daughter post too if needed.
God's Blessings to each and everyone of you!
Pam
