PROTEIN SHAKES???

HELLO EVERYONE, I AM GOING TO HAVE MY SURGERY ON JUNE 21ST. I AM TRYING TO GET PREPARED WITH THE FOOD, VITAMINS, ETC. THAT I WILL NEED AFTER. I HAVE HEARD SO MANY AWFUL THINGS ABOUT THE TASTE OF PROTEIN SHAKES. CAN ANYONE RECCOMEND A GOOD AND TASTY ONE.....CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA THANKS IN ADVANCE KARRIE

i hav chocolate isopure that i use w/milk {no****er} its ok, but not awsome. i actually make a milkshake w/ vanilla ice cream and add a scoop to it....much,much,better but i dont hav any problems at all w/sugar {lucky me}. i guess u could try sugar free ice cream.

Amazerx.com wonderful shakes....taste like strawberry quick and you only use water....mixes completely!

I ordered my protein shakes from vitalady.com, the brand is Syntrax, and the flavor I ordered is strawberry/kiwi. I mix it with 1 cup of sf crystal light, and it is actually really good.

Have you tried any of the other flavors? (I'm having surgery in July!! )

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and welcome to your new life. I use Unjury chocolate protein powder. I mix it with water and it tastes just like a yoohoo drink. It has 20 grams of protein at 100 calories a glass. I use about 6 oz. of water in it. I also use the unflavored protein powder from Unjury in my soups and pudding. It does not change the flavor of the soups or puddings at all. You can go online to www.unjury.com and get samples to try and see if you like them. Congratulations again. Darlene

I started my protein today, and the girl at GNC reccomended Energie Maximum Protein. I was pleasantly suprised at the fact that it tasted like a malted milk shake, and there is only one gram of sugar. We have the same date!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I have tried the Strawberry, Chocolate and Mocha flavors of the AmazeRx and I like the Strawberry best. They all taste great with no whey nasty taste. Fool that I am I keep drinking it even though I feel yucky afterward from the artificial sweeteners(Splenda). I have major issues with the artificial sweeteners. But, I figure I have to do it for the pre-op so I just suck it up. It has NOTHING to do with the taste which is my problem because I like it so much...LOL! I just ordered the unflavored Unjury too so I can add it to a bunch of stuff...everything just about. It has NO SWEETENERS...YEA!!! I've never tried it before but everyone raves about it. GLGL!
