Home and banded!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I didn't update yesterday, but I was too tired to update all the boards!!! For those awaiting surgery, I'll tell you that it really wasn't so bad. I would rate my pain from yesterday anywhere between 0 and 2. I was walking around the whole afternoon (well after I was fully awake at about 3) and was doing so well that they let me leave. It did make me feel guilty because my roommate had it MUCH worse than me, her pain was probably a 7 or so and she couldn't walk around and I think she wanted to go home too (I thought she'd be happy to have her own room, but whatever). So, I just wanted to give you hope. Obviously, as stated above, some have more pain than others, but my surgeon told me it took him a total of 20 minutes and it went perfectly. He gave me pain meds that made me feel no pain at all last night, as in I'd rate my pain a 0 (though getting up made it feel like a 2) so, you may be lucky like me and not have any post op pain. That's great julie I was the same way I have not had hardly any pain I was banded on 6-5-07 and gone back to work on 6-11-07 I fell great I wish I done this years ago. Trish
