I'm a bandster!

I just had my surgery Monday... so I am on day 2 of bandster life. I had expected to be back to my old self a little bit quicker, but I can't complain.... everyone is different. I'm just thankful that I'm not starving at the moment! I dread the return of that feeling, like I had with the 10 day liquids before. I start my regular liquids tomorrow, as I have been on clear liquids since Monday. But I haven't really wanted to eat anything, so that aspect hasn't been too hard. I have to ask.... has anyone had any BM problems? I'm miserable with this... severe gas pains when I walk around (seem to not be as bad when I lay down) and then when I AM actually able to "go" it is pure water.... SO, if it is all water (as that is all I'm eating) why is it hurting so bad and taking so long to "go"? I can't wait to be back to normal! Any others with this issue? Twyla

I was banded the middle of may. Gas x helps with the gas pains and it is better to keep moving to get rid of them. I had watery BM's for about 4-5 days after surgery and then they returned to normal. Monique
